My wife and I were pretty lost on all the things that go into a wedding but once we toured this place and met Wendy we knew it was the one. And we were 100% right! Everything went absolutely perfect! From guests, to the ceremony, the reception, and the photography was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Also Wendy was very understanding and helpful when my wife and I wanted to change a couple details one or two weeks before the wedding. If you are needing a venue, GO TOUR HERE and I bet you’ll book it.

Where do I begin?… My husband and I discussed what we envisioned for our wedding before ever getting engaged. We thought we would have plenty of time to plan. When he proposed I knew I didn’t want to wait and plan a big wedding. We were fully prepared to go to the courthouse and tie the knot BUT our kids wanted to see us get married so we set out to find a way to accomplish that without breaking the bank. There were only a few things that were important to me; my date (10/20/22) and my colors. We wanted to be non traditional. I wanted my special day to be stress free for my husband and I. When we found the elopement packages at The Hitching Post I was overjoyed that I could have everything I want for a price we could afford! Wendy is absolutely amazing. We met her when we toured the venue and she was so kind. She had great insight on how to coordinate our wishes. She was so helpful with everything from payment arrangements to honoring every request I had. The day couldn’t have been more perfect. We had a small wedding on a Thursday afternoon. We pulled up to everything being prepared for us which put me at ease. I wanted to ENJOY my wedding and that is EXACTLY what I was able to do thanks to Wendy and her crew. The ceremony site was decorated beautifully with the colors we requested. Wendy was a huge help in coordinating who was to be where seeing how I did not want my husband to see me before I walked down the aisle. Our ceremony was quick and perfect. With my oldest son being special needs I wanted something to the point so he wouldn’t get overwhelmed with sitting quietly for too long. Wendy was gracious enough to allow me to honor my father and step mother with a special dance since it was their wedding anniversary. The photographer even asked if she could do a mini photo shoot of them which I loved. I can’t say enough great things about the photographer either. She was AWESOME! She talked to everyone as if she had known us for years. My brother actually thought we knew each other even though we only met that day. Our cake was simple and perfect! I gave very little input on most things and even though I didn’t give much input Wendy was able to pull together exactly what I pictured. I am just in awe over how well we were taken care of. Having a venue that provides EVERYTHING allowed me to not become a bridezilla. LOL THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION FOR OUR WEDDING! I highly recommend this establishment for wedding small and large!

I just had my wedding here at the end of June. It was spectacular. Lots of family flew in from everywhere and everyone loved the venue, decor and ambience created by Wendy and her team. The grounds are beautifully kept and allowed for lots of fun and exploration. From the initial stages of planning, Wendy worked so hard to give us exactly what we wanted and more for the budget we had. You are able to customize the experience you want by using Hitching Post services or by hiring your own vendors. We also had a bunch of kids on our guest list and we were able to set up the cutest picnic area for them. On the day of, everything fell into place perfectly. Crowd favorite: cocktail hour meatball station. She was awesome! Highly highly recommend!

I don’t think you can pick a better venue. We had our all-inclusive wedding the first weekend of June and I would not change a thing! We were able to pick almost every single detail. Decorations were mostly borrowed from the venue and we added a few personalizations that were important to us! Food was amazing, DJ and minister were fabulous and the staff was top notch!! 5 stars to Wendy for not only coordinating our big day but for being our photographer as well!! Wedding budgets these days are insane and we are so thankful we found The Hitching Post. 100% recommended!!!

The recent wedding of our grandson and his bride was held at The Hitching Post. The setting was magical and the day gorgeous, befitting the precious bride and groom. Staff were welcoming and open to helping in every way needed, providing for a beautiful start to our loved ones' new life together. We highly recommend The Hitching Post as a wedding venue, as well as vow renewal ceremonies, anniversary celebrations, and other special events.

My husband and I had the most wonderful time having our wedding here! They took care of everything! I’m the kind of person that details of the wedding wasn’t a big deal to me so I wasn’t much help, but Wendy seemed to make it work and made it better than I had imagined. Thank you guys for everything! The food was good, the service was wonderful, and hardly any stress. We even got to surprise Wendy and her crew with the coolest Mother/Son dance!

The Hitching Post helped make my wedding day amazing! The owners and staff are incredibly kind and great at what they do! The venue is eclectic and beautiful and filled with a rich history! I loved the vintage feel the place has, and every part of the property is truly stunning. We supplied our own decorations to fit our theme, but they helped us execute my vision perfectly. BUT if you want to make your life easier, this venue has plenty of gorgeous decor on hand that they’ll let you use! This is especially great for those who are going with a rustic theme! I loved my wedding day and could not have done it without this venue! Highly recommend! Thank you Hitching Post!
