We loved everything about this venue! The owner, Wendy, is such a sweet person and really worked hard to give us everything we wanted. The decorations are amazing. They do so much for you! I don't know how other people have weddings - I can't imagine anything better than my wedding!

It felt magical from start to finish and created the most unforgettable backdrop for our wedding day. The staff, especially Wendy, went above and beyond in every possible way. They were professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Every detail was handled seamlessly, which allowed us (and our families!) to relax and truly enjoy the celebration. Their organization and calm presence made the entire planning process feel effortless. We truly appreciated Wendy answering our endless questions, a true pro! Our guests are STILL raving about how gorgeous the venue was and how smoothly everything flowed. From the ceremony to the reception, everything felt thoughtful, warm, and incredibly well executed. We have been thrilled with the number of compliments from our guest on how much fun they had on our special day. Although we ended up going in a different direction for our wedding venue the owner, Wendy, made a wonderful impression on us. During our tour she was extremely kind, explained everything in detail, and made my fiancé and I feel genuinely welcomed. The venue isn’t fully all-inclusive, but it offers nearly everything you’d need and the pricing is very reasonable. Definitely worth touring if you’re looking for an affordable option!

We absolutely loved this venue for our wedding. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of! We wanted a simple and more intimate wedding and the 1812 was the perfect place for it. The venue is beautiful with lots of scenic options for the ceremony and pictures! We also loved that they were an all-inclusive venue even though we opted for our own officiant and photography, it was a huge weight of our shoulders to have everything else (food, cake, decorations, music, chairs, tables, etc) handled by the venue and included in the cost. Wendy was great to work with as a wedding coordinator. I had lots of questions from the time we booked up until the day of the wedding and she answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend the 1812 to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

I found the 1812 Hitching Post via social media years before my husband proposed, and we both just knew this would be the place we’d get married. Long before the engagement, it already felt like our venue. Our wedding day here was everything we dreamed of and more. The venue was beautiful, the staff was incredible, and Wendy was truly the best. She handled everything with such care, even when things got a little hectic behind the scenes. No matter the bumps or last-minute chaos, she made sure we felt calm, taken care of, and genuinely happy the entire day. All the photos I sent her, all the decor ideas I had… she helped bring every detail to life exactly as I envisioned. It meant the world to me. I’ve recommended this place to all of my friends and family, and I will continue to do so for years to come. Wendy, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is such a beautiful and unique venue! My husband and I were able to plan a micro wedding in just two months with all the help from Wendy. She was super helpful, great at communicating and very patient! I didn’t even know where to begin but she helped every step of the way. I was amazed to see how beautiful everything came together for our special day. The staff were super helpful and sweet, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. The wedding packages were affordable too, especially for everything included.

Beautiful venue. My son and his new bride loved their special day. It's such a gorgeous setting and Wendy and her team do a great job and handle all the little details that can be so stressful.
